Not my first time at this restaurant, and it will certainly stay as my favourite in Funchal. Food excellent, service and friendliness of the staff outstanding, nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic menu, lots of variety, food well-cooked, service and ambience perfect.  We have been several times over the years and it never fails to impress.  Top-quality dining experience with 3 courses and wine at less than &pound;50 a head.  Give me that in a good restaurant in Britain!

Another restaurant we haven&#39;t visited for a while but we do have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Reception was excellent and the service on the whole was excellent. If we are being picky but as this is a review / feedback and honesty is what reviews are about. Part of the service could have been a little less short, not rude or offensive just a little more friendly in general. Anyway about the Food, one of the best Bolo do Caco in Funchal, all the food is exceptional. We both opted for fish courses, i had Salmon and my Husband had Fish of the day, Sea Bass. Not one bone found in any of the dishes, worthy of a visit alone. All the food is Cooked and Presented really well and some of the best ingredients around. Wine is of a good standard and is most reasonably priced. A fabulous popular busy restaurant and there is a reason it has been around so long. Highly recommended, Book early as it does get difficult to get a table.

The staff are very friendly, the service was slower than usual , but they were busy. The food was very good especially the crepe suzette.
